Rethink Breast Cancer educates, empowers and advocates for system changes to improve the experience and outcomes of those with breast cancer, focusing on historically underserved groups:
- people diagnosed at a younger age;
- those with metastatic breast cancer;
- and, people systemically marginalized due to race, income or other factors.
We avoid calling breast cancer a journey; however, we have identified a common flow to our efforts in that we:
- Foster connection + community
- Provide support + listen
- Identify gaps in care
- Collaborate with the community to make change
Essentially, we foster spaces to connect, empower, listen and rethink breast cancer, together.
